Editing round two

Editing round 2 has started, and we are currently editing the first few chapters of the book. We’re currently making sure all the storylines make sense and that the characters all have their own voices. It is taking a while since we don’t have much time for editing every day between day jobs and family life, but we are doing our best. Ideally, we would love to be able to publish early next year.

But first, we really want to make sure the first five chapters are really good before sending them to agents. Part of me is leaning towards perfectionism, but I know that what we really need is to get it into more ARC readers’ hands before we edit too much.

The good news is that the more we edit, the more excited we are about this book and the story it tells. We are so passionate about the world-building and really hope fantasy readers will enjoy the world we created.
