About us

We are a married couple writing under the pen name L.N. Wolff.

Originally, we were both writing books independently from one another, but realised we worked better together and decided to share our projects with each other.

We are now writing our debut novel, which we intend to turn into a trilogy called the Deadwood Chronicles. We also have another few works in progress.

Nick is a software engineer by day and a passionate dungeon master by night. He loves to invent complex worlds and enjoys reading dark fantasy books. He's also a Warhammer painter.

I have a master's degree in Middle English literature, with a keen interest in Arthurian literature. And I enjoy reading fantasy and romantasy these days, as well as the classics. My love for Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and Harry Potter is what pushed me to study English literature.

We are both huge fans of Red Sister by Mark Lawrence, as well as Abercrombie's The First Law.

We met during our final year of university and bonded over our love of Lord of the Rings, Linkin Park, and video games, and have been together ever since. After a decade and two little girls, we came up with this world that got more and more complex as time went on. We plotted most of the setting on long car rides.
